Software
In house, we utilise 2D and 3D CAD software depending on the requirements of your project. When BIM is required, we entrust this yo one of our freelance team. It may sound expensive but we pick the most cost effective option for you, let you know the price, and let you decide.
Structural Calculations
We use 2 qualified freelance structural engineers who specialise in steel framed buildings. Engineers can seem expensive, but our team are comparatively affordable. Both engineers specialise in agricultural and industrial buildings. We supply calculations and design of load bearing buildings such as grain stores and any other structures such as mezzanines.

All buildings include a material list (Bill of Materials) which will allow you to get prices direct from suppliers. We will also quote for the full supply for the project.
The benefit to getting the design done before contacting building contractors is to ensure that every company quotes you based on the same materials giving you an accurate representation of everybody's prices. If this is not done, estimates on specification will be made and this could also cause the quoted price to increase when the structural engineers design is complete. We’re also not likely to cost any more than what you will eventually be charged.
We will also help you pick the correct materials, free of charge, for your building which will ensure you have as few issues in the future as possible. For example, what material is most cost effective for cladding on a steel framed hay store? Is it worth galvanising the steelwork for a steel framed farm building?
Although we operate from [in between Llandrindod Wells and] Newtown, Powys, we supply our design and fabrication services nationwide, throughout the UK.

Quality
Regardless of where your steelwork is made, the fabrication is done to our design, our standard. Each piece of steel and each joint is theoretically tested and designed to ensure that nothing is under or over engineered.
CE Marking for Steel Framed Buildings
Since July 2014, all structural steelwork has be fabricated by suppliers that are certified to do so. Structural steelwork falls into 4 category's and so does the certification for steel fabrication companies. all agricultural buildings and most industrial building requirements are covered up to EXC. Class 2 which is what all of our associated structural steel fabricators are qualified to. However, we can supply laser cut components up to EXC. Class 3.

As with our steelwork, we source materials from a range of suppliers from around the UK. We supply everything you need from cladding sheets, purlins, and nuts and bolts. We take care of it all.
